Hands up, suddenly we all got our hands up

Hello EVERYONE,

Soooo I've gotten pink in my hair, went home for fall break, and haven't been home since, went to Pinktoberfest, went to Six Flags which was BALLIN!, Threw Jade a surprise party, went to Judgment Journey which was amazing, I've been to the Zeta Semi-Formal, and other stuff :) The picture above is from Pinktoberfest. We were getting our groove on.

This has been one stressful month.

Yesterday was a really good day though. Somehow I ended up missing my 8:00 AM class, by sleeping. Thankfully my 11:00 class was canceled. The only class I had was at 2:00 and then I just came in my room and chilled. Then at around 6:00 I made my "big sister" Leah some cookies and went over to house around 7. We then ate some pizza and watched Family Guy. After that, we went to the movies to see Due Date. Let me tell you something, there were like 8 year old Justin Bieber look a likes there. They also had girlfriends. It was ridick. I mean what has this world come to? Ha the funny part is they tried to get into a Rated R movie. The cashier was like "How old are you?" They go "18." I mean come on kid you don't even look 18!!! The cashier was like "You're not 18, how old are you?" And he was like "Dang!! Can someone else buy our ticket?" and she was like "Yeah." So there was this guy right in front of me and Leah buying him and his girlfriend tickets to see their movie and the kid right in front of the cashier was like:
"Hey man how old are you?"
"Nineteen."
"Can you buy our tickets? We'll give you money."
"Yeahh.."

It was CRAZYYY!!!

Then yeah some of the other sisters came to the movie and I went back to the dorm and Cheryl and me watched 27 Dresses and then these girls like invited themselves to sleep in our room. It was weird. But Cheryl, a girl from our hall Johanna, and me stayed up until 3 talking. Then it was bedtime.

Today: I have no idea what I'm doing. I really want Chick fil a or Steak N Shake. Yumm But I might clean. This place is a mess.

Dear bloggers,
I'm so sorry I haven't been on. I've been so super duper busy. But I am starting to write in this more. I promise. Lately, I have been feeling so much closer to God. He has answered my prayers. He has also led me to this great college. I think just being here has brought me closer to God. I feel so blessed to have my family and friends. I've met the most amazing people, and I know they will be my friends for lifetime. He has also blessed me with the wisdom and knowledge I thought I did not have. With Him, I feel complete. He has my life in His hands, while He is leading me to what I should do with my life.

On a different note,
Tonight we have chapter. We have to dress gothic. That should be fun.
Tomorrow is Greek Superhero night. I'm gonna be Batgirl!!
Thursday is Pinktoberfest and I'm gonna be a Pink Lady from Grease! Holla!
Friday Gabe, Jade, Chelsea, Thad, Cecil, and me are going to Six Flags to Fright Fest!
Saturday we are going to a haunted house
and Sunday is Jade's birthday.

Wow its been forever!!

So much has been going on.

First of all.
I have met the most AMAZING people here at Shorter. I love every part about Shorter. Maybe not every part but you get the gist.

Uhmm last week was Big Little Reveal
Ah It was soo fun

What is big little reveal?
We had to go on "Strawberry dates" to get to know each other and see we wanted them to our big sister.
So I only went on two haha.
But its like Christmas.
We had to rank the top five girls we wanted.
It was hard to do. I love everyone.

Anyways, they left us gifts outside our door Sunday night, and a banner, and they decorated our rooms Monday, Tuesday night they decorated our cars, and Wednesday night they left gifts outside our doors. Ah I love my big. Thursday night we found out who our big sister is and mine is LEAH BARTON! She was who I wanted and I'm soooo sooo sooo happy.

This week has been great.

College Day 30:

Wow its weird to think I've been here for 30 days.

Today: I got up and went to McDonalds for some breakfast with Jade. Then we went to church with Cheryl :)
After that, we went to lunch at Jefferson's with Elizabeth and two of her friends.
Then we came back to our dorms and worked on homework. Ew..
Later on, we went to Walmart and came back and ate. Funn day. Ha. Just kidding. It was lazy.

The only thing I have left to do is study and go the FAB meeting at 8:30.

College Day 29:
Ahh I know I haven't been on here in FOREVER.

I've been so busy with school, sorority stuff, FAB, and everything.

Last week I fell in and out of love. Not really love. Just likeness. Guys need a head and need to make decisions and decide what they like and not.

Nothing interesting has happened. Just some heartbreak.
But I had amazing friends to help me every step of the way.

Friday: I went home for Cassie's homecoming. Oh my gosh, her and Meagan were the prettiest ones out there. It was amazing. I LOVED seeing all my friends. And I loved bringing Moriah and Elizabeth. So much fun.

Today: I went to eat chick Fil A with Moriah and I spent $15 on candy. Ha. Just for me. Then FINALLY Jade and Cheryl came back and I went and hungout with them. Productive day.

Tomorrow: I'm going to church.

College Day 22:

I've been so busy I haven't been able to write on this.

What a week. Campus is absolutley dead right now. Why? Because EVERYONE is gone for Labor Day. All my friends and everything.

Nothing interesting has happened. Just kidding it has.

Let's see.

Monday: After FYS I went to meet Morgan to go to FSU to buy our GA Dome tickets. Well on my way to meet her, I fell down the stairs. After math class, I went to Nurse Mary and she KINDA helped me. She told me I tore a ligament or tindon and I needed to be on crutches. So I am until this day. She is nuts. Then I got pushed around in a wheelchair at the mall because we had to get white dresses for Tuesday night which was pledge night. Later that night, Cheryl, Moriah, and Jade came over and we just all talked.

Tuesday: I fell down the stairs again. We had pledge. Oh my gosh Jade and me made a BIG MISTAKE. So we show up (still on crutches) and we had to get in groups of three to go in this room to pledge. I was with Morgan and Jade. Let me set the scenary, It was dark with only about three candles lit up and about 20 girls lined up on the side of you when you walk to the end of the aisle there was a table and two Zeta girls. The President and Vice. They then handed us a notecard to read it was an oath. After that, we gave it to them and had to kneel down on one knee which was very hard for me. haha. anyways, we started to repeat them and I tried soo hard not to laugh during it, and all of a sudden Jade and me started laughing and we could not stop and Morgan was the only one repeating after them. It was soo embarrassing. In mid-sentence Morgan said "You guys suck at this" and we had to keep going. It sucked so bad.

Wednesday: Had class. Boo. Then I went to church with Cheryl, Moriah, Dominque, and Robby :) Then Cheryl and me took them back and went to our sorority meeting which didn't get out until 11:30 ughh too late.

Thursday: We went to Olive Garden and I saw Elizabeth and paid for her dinner haha. Then we went on our way to the GA Dome and of course Shorter lost. 41-7 against GA State.

Friday: Everyone left. and I had no math class. And I was supposed to have a quiz in English and she gave everyone there a 100 on the quiz for being there, because half the people weren't there. Then I watched High School Musical 3 haha

Saturday: That would be today.
I cleaned, took a shower, did laundry, cleaned more, and hungout with Colby, studied for my quiz Tuesday, and updated my planner. Man I miss my friends. I can't wait until they come back.

Friday: College day Fourteen

I woke up and went to breakfast with Moriah and then went to class. After that we just hungout in my dorm and then went to FYS with Morgan. After that, we all went to lunch and went to class then went to the chapel to find out what sorority I was in. And I got into Zeta Tau Alpha what what!?!With my bestest friends. Then we went to the chapel for a comedy show the Bean and Bailey show it was hilarious then Jade and me went home.

Today: I went to Cooks and ate with Cassie and Christian. And later I'm going to
Meagan's and Jacob's party. whoot whoot

Wednesday- College Day Twelve:

Wednesday was a MUCH better day. I woke up at and went to breakfast with the girls. Then we all went to that boring convocation thing. After that, we went to the caf to eat and then I went to College Algebra and Yearbook. I love YEARBOOK! So much fun. Then we just hungout and went toeat again haha and then went to the sorority parties which was much better. After that, I just hungout with Chelsea until midnight and then Jade, Moriah, and me went to iHop. Our waitress told me I was crazy physco and stalker crazy and she got into an arguement with this guy behind me it was so crazy. Then there was a scary homeless man begging us for money. what a night is all I can say. Then I just spent the night at Jades dorm.

Thursday- College Day Thirteen:
Today is kinda better but its not over. :( I have the class I missed Tuesday today, and I went to the bookstore to buy my book and they didn't have it. Great. Swell. This is not a good start off to that class. On top of that, my professor didn't email me back. Once again, splendid way to start off. I just pray to the great Lord above we don't need it today and the man likes me and he's not that bad of a person. Anyways, this morning I woke up and Jade and me talked and about 12:30 Jade, Moriah, Morgan, Arianna, and me went to Chick Fil A for lunch. Then we came back and now I'm doing this. Tonight is the last night pretty much for the sorority stuff. I'm so ready for it to be over.

Tomorrow I only have three classes then I'm going home! YAY!

College Day Nine:

I woke up and went to eat Fudruckers with Jade, Katie, and Moriah. Then we went back to Jade's and watched The Last Song I cried my eyes out. Then we went to eat and got my sheet back from Thad and went to the FAB meeting. Then we just hungout and went to bed.

College Day Ten:
This morning I woke up at 6:45 to eat breakfast with Arianna. Then we went to English. Then we hungout in my room until 10:45 and Morgan and me went to FYS. After that, Jade,Morgan,Moriah,Lindsey,Cason,Arianna,and Kathy and me went to Moes for free food. It was so good but it made me sick. Then we all just went back and hungout and went to Pizza Hut and then to the sorority stuff. Then Jade and me had to clean up front circle after Iron Man 2 was done.

College Day Eleven:
Worst day ever. So I thought I only had US Government on Thursdays BUT I got an email from my professor and I have class on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Great. So I missed class today. And I'm freaking out. This morning: I woke up and went to Jade's and played Wii Fit. Then I came back and took a shower and took our picture for the dry erase board thing. After that, we went to Shane's Rib Shack where we all got free chicken tenders. Then we went to buy a dress for the sorority formal thing. Now i'm sitting here freaking out because I missed class. At six, I have another sorority thing to go to. I just want this day to end. Period.

College Day Eight




What a great Saturday.
Last night before classes :(

Today:

I was supposed to wake up at 9:30 but Jade texted me so early so I woke up and got ready. Originally, my plans were to go eat breakfast with Morgan, Jade, and Moriah at the caf. BUT the caf closes at 9:30. So we had to go to Chick Fil A and eat breakfast then Morgan and me went back on campus and took this gay survey. After that we hungout in her room and then Jade came. Later on, we went to TJ Max and I bought the cutest jewelry holder and Jade bought a picture frame. Then we went to Ross and Walmart. After that, we were hungry for lunch so we took all our stuff to our dorm and saw that the caf closes at 1:30 and it was 1:40 when we got back. We were soo mad. So we had to go to Zaxbys. Then we went back to campus and hungout and I came to my room and my roommate was here. Then we just went to Jade's room and watched Step Brothers. After that, we got ready for the "Welcome Back" party which was lame. The sorority girls once again just HAD to talk to us and they remembered our names which was kinda strange. A few minutes later, we got bored and sat out in the front circle and met some people. Then we went back to Jade's and played Just Dance. Now I'm here in my dorm. Not much today happened. We were all lazy. Ah I miss all my friends. I have a hair appointment Saturday yay! =]

I got nothing to lose I'm fighting my demons

Today: College Day Seven

I woke up at 6:45 and ate breakfast with Jade.
Then we went to do our community service thing which lasted 45 minutes. I had to answer questions with Thad about college from sixth graders. Then, Jade came to my room and we talked and then went to lunch. After lunch we went back to my room and made duct tape rings and a flower for our headbands for jungle night at the FSU. Then we went to Walmart and I bought The Last Song! Ah. Then we went back and made more duct tape jewelry. haha. Then we got hungry and went to dinner. After dinner, Thad, Colby, and Gabe came over and we jungled Thad up and he got first place. Then, Jade and me got ready and went to the Jungle Jam and two soroities were fighting over us it was crazy, but a lot of fun! Then, Moriah and Jade came back up to my room and we talked and then Moriah wanted to go to Waffle House so we all went to Waffle House. Oh my gosh the people wanted to kill us because we were so loud. Moriah cracks me up though. After that Arianna came to my room and we talked.

Tomorrow well really in a couple of hours I have to go meet Morgan, Jade, and Moriah for breakfast. Then go take a freshman assesment thing. Ugh work on Saturdays. And my roommate moves in which is gonna be weird. I'm so used to being alone.

We left for Camp Hawk which is in Alabama.
When we got there it totally sucked but I met tons of new people.

Wednesday: College Day Five
Still at Camp Hawk
This day sucked even more.
No air condition, it rained, and we slept in a bed full of ants.

Thursday: College Day Six
We ate breakfast and came home from Camp Hawk.
Then, I cleaned my dorm and Arianna, Jade, and me did some laundry. I swear I'm an expert at it now. Then we all came to my room and Arianna's friend Moriah came shes awesome. Then Jade straightened my hair and we met Gabe and Bryce at Chick Fil A then we went to JJ's room and watched Jumanji. Then I came back and talked to Arianna. I need to get off here though we have community service to do and I wake up in 5 hours. ahhh I'm gonna die.

Let's see today was sooo boring and pointless.

I woke up at 8 and then got ready and met Arianna and we went to breakfast with Jade and everyone. Then we checked in FSU for the orientation and thank God, Jade and I were together. We met a lot of cool people. But we already knew all the stuff they talked about so it was the most pointless six hours of my life. And there was this girl who kept saying she saw ghosts in the room and how her school encouraged them to playgerize or however you spell it.

After that, we went to Jade's dorm and then Jade, Chelsea, and me went to Walmart. And I bought the cutest poster for my room.

Then, what did we do? We went back to Jade's dorm and just talked and facebook stalked people. Then we went to dinner.

Then, we went back to Jade's dorm and talked more and then decided to go to Dollar General. After that, we all got ready and met Gabe and his roommate Bryce and went to eat at Chick Fil A. After Chick Fil A, we went to Jade's RA and talked to her about sorority's. And we stayed in there for like 3 hours. I know we are gonna be friends with that girl she was so sweet and she got my number even though I'm not on her hall. Then I went back to my dorm and took a shower and packed for Camp Hawk which is completly stupid and EVERYONE is dreading it.

So nothing really interesting happened today.
People are nice here though.

Day Two of college life.

This morning I went to breakfast with Arianna (my neighbor), Jade, Gabe, Chelsea, and a few others. Then we all went to Chapel which was kinda neat. After that, we all went to lunch and then went to our dorms...well at least Arianna and me did. The rest of them went to Walmart while Arianna and me had to sit through fire drills and I locked myself out of my dorm room because I had no idea what was going on. Awesome right? So it took forever, about an hour, to get into my room.
After that I just waited until 4:30 and went to some meeting with the girls.
After the meeting, I went back to my dorm and watched Spice Girls and then Jade came by and we went to dinner. Then we sat in her room and watched Youtube videos the whole time and then we went to the ice cream get together thing.
Then after that, we all went to Jade's suite and watched The Hangover.
Now I'm sitting here soooo tired in my dorm haha.

Tomorrow we have orientation from 9:30 - 3:30 which is going to suck so bad. I thought we already went through orientation. Ugh.

I try to keep it simple cause I hate goodbyes..

Well.. today was the day I moved in.
I expected a little dorm room but instead I got a suite. With a kitchen, a huge closet, a living room, the bedroom and two closets for my roommate and myself and a bathroom.

The bad case of this is, my roommate doesn't get here until next Saturday. so it is very very lonely. I saw Jade today and her room is super cute. I just hope everything goes good this year and I have no problems.

I just know I will miss my friends more than anything.

College Day 1.

To the ones who cared and who were there from the start

What an emotional week.

Sunday: Cassie, Christian, and me went down to Town Center and met my mom to buy some dorm stuff and school clothes.

Monday: I ate at Zaxby's with Cameron, Cassie, Christian, and his sister Elizabeth. Then Cameron, Elizabeth, and me went to go get this kid Ty for the FUEL Meeting. After that, we took Cassie to cheerleading and Cameron and me just rode around pretty much and then I went home and packed.

Tuesday: My lovely sister made me a scrapbook to take to college and it was the sweetest thing. She means so much to me. I don't know what I would do without her. Then I went to coach and after that went to the last pool party at Cameron's. Gosh Tuesday was the saddest day ever.

Wednesday: Cassie and me went to eat lunch with Billie at Fatz. It was so good seeing her. Its so weird that we spent like everyday together and now we barely see each other. It really sucks but shes still my best friend. Then, I went to Walmart with Cassie, Matt, and Caylan and got last minute dorm stuff. I also saw The Other Guys which is really good. Then I went to McDonalds and got my dad and myself something to eat and my favorite person Shawna took my order and Austin was in front of me talking to me haha. After I got my food, I sat and talked to Austin for awhile. Then as I was pulling out of the redlight a white convertible mustang was like trying to race me and I realized it was Nicole's car with Kelli in it telling me to go to Walmart. So I saw Kelli and Nicole for a little while. What a good day. I got to see half of my friends in one day.

Toady: I am going to eat lunch at Zaxby's with Nicole and Cassie and MAYBE Kelli and Lauren. Then I have to go to another FUEL meeting and then go see little Billie =]
When I get home I have to pack.


It's so weird that school starts tomorrow in Union County, and I won't be able to go because I'm at a new point in my life. It's also weird that I start college. I used to say "I can't wait until I'm in college" but that's because I thought nobody would care if I went and I wouldn't be missed. This has been the greatest year of my life. Sure there has been some downfalls, but I love where I'm at right now, and I wish I had more time. For example, Cameron is having a movie night at her house Saturday and I won't be able to go and it kinda makes me sad and makes me wish I wasn't leaving yet. I don't know. I'm gonna end this blog on a good note. I am blessed and so happy I have God in my life and a great mom.

Don't get me wrong I love who I am, I don't wanna be ungrateful it probably sounds strange.

Dreams..

Evevryone has dreams.

Not the kind of dream that when you go to sleep, and dream about falling, or about meeting Miley Cyrus and her flying you and your friends out to Hawaii, or even about getting kidnapped and coming back to life.

The kind of dream that you want to reach some point in your life.

I would like to know what some people's dreams are.

As of right now, I really hope to reach my dream. My dream is to become an actress. I want to be a great rode model to kids and teenagers. Would I be good at it? Only God knows, and that is why you need him to help guide you through everything. I think about my dream everyday. I know this sounds corny, but I always think if I won a huge award or something, I would ALWAYS thank God first. Simply because he was the one who got me there and make me be who I am. I also think if I had the money I would want to help so many kids in hospitals and orphanages. I don't have the money now, so I really can't. I want to do what I can though. Sure I would also spend it on clothes, but I would auction off the clothes I don't wear to a good cause. At this point though, I feel like I'm going no where in life. I am going to college and I thank God for giving me that opportunity, but I feel like something is missing.. I'm just not happy.

Last night, I was watching this show. It comes on ABC Family at 12 o'clock midnight. Usually I'm just like, "This show seems like it's for old people I'm not watching it." On the other hand, I felt like God wanted me to watch it. So I did. It touched me so much. The stories and all. I even prayed with the man on the television and felt God was with me. After seeing all the stories that have happened to people, I figured that I just needed to be patient. I mean I'm only 18. So I just have to be patient for when God leads me to my dream. I have to wait until the right time. I always say, "Everything happens for a reason." I still think that too. Every single day.

I guess this was just my thought of the day.
I needed to vent it out.

Wednesday: We left for Rome for orientation and we got to the hotel and this guy followed us to our room and called us and he was like "Hey..Are yall from here? You can stop in my room anytime." It was weird.

Thursday: We went to orientation. It was pretty cool. I'm so nervous about school though. Then we sped on home and got our stuff together once again and went to Alie's birthday party. Which was pretty fun.

Friday: I ran all through Blue Ridge and Blairsville haha. And then went to the fair with Nathan.

Saturday: Was the Greenbean Festival which was cool. Then we had to go to Hiawassee and work at the fair. It kinda sucked because it rained. Later, Cassie, Christian, Morgan, and me went to ride rides which was fun.

Today: Cassie,Christian, and I went to the family reunion and then came to my grandma's house to watch a movie and eat some dinner.

What a productive last four days.

Tomorrow: Working on school stuff and hanging out with the bestest Brandon Anguelo and Mark Steely.

Tuesday: POOL PARTY AT CAMERONS!

Wednesday: Going to see Charlie St. Cloud.

Maybe I Will Never Be Who I Was Before

Well these past few days have been so great.
I am so blessed to have the greatest friends.


Thursday: Cameron, Cassie, Seth, Jacob, Meagan and I ate at the new Italian place in town. It was so good except for the sweet tea. Yuck. Then Danielle and Jessica came. Then we all (minus Jessica and Danielle) piled in my car to meet Austin at Bi Lo. Then we met Jordan Grizzle at his work. So we had 8 people in my car going to the Hiawassee Fair. When we got there we met Danielle, Iernee, Nicole, Jessica, Lauren, Courtney, and Christian. Mostly everyone got sick except Cassie and me. Jacob threw up on the second ride we rode, and on the pirate ship he about barfed everywhere. After about an hour or two of rides we went to the Hiawassee Beach and there was a guy with all his clothes on in the water...at like 9:30 at night. It was pretty creepy. And Austin drove my car back to Blairsville while Jordan sat in the passenger seat with his huge sword that glowed different colors out the window. I thought we were gonna die.

Friday: Jordan Thomas, Cassie, Nicole, Christain, Cameron, and me went to lunch at Zaxbys. Then Nicole, Cameron, and me went to Walmart to buy drinks for her party. Then we went to her house and waited for people to show up. Then Nicole, me, Cameron, Irenee, and Austin went to get AUSTIN food in my car while he drove. Then we went back to her house to wait on people to get in the pool. It was very fun. Then Cassie and me had to go house sit/ dog sit for Diane. Keep in mind she has four dogs that shit everywhere anytime they please.

Saturday: I just stayed with the dogs while Christian came over and helped me until Cassie came. Later that night we played Rockband and Just Dance.

Sunday: The same as above.

Monday: Nothing it was a rest day.

Tuesday: I went to the FUEL meeting it looks like its going to be very good. and it was my last day of work.

Today: Going to Rome.

Tomorrow: Shorter orientation. Sooo nervous.

Yesterday: I did nothing.

Well today I heard the most heartbreaking story that is too horrific to post on here. Since I heard it, it has dusturbed me. And it scares me about going to college. I know I've said I'm ready to leave this town and I can't wait but I don't know something feels different. I'm leaving my best friends. I'm so scared I'll never talk to Gracelyn or Alie or Callie or even Billie who has always been there for me. They all mean the world to me and I can't see what I will do without them.

For the past week or two I've felt so depressed and unhappy. Then when I'm with the people who care about me the most and who I care about for, I feel surrouned with love and happiness. I just keep thinking, "I'll find new friends and never forget the old ones." Nobody could ever replace my friends nor the feelings I have for them. I also like to think college is a place where I get to start all over and discover who I am on the inside. It's a new chapter in my life.

Right now, I'm trying to spend so much time with my friends. Who knows when I will see them again. I've had a great summer and its not over yet. Orientation is July 29 and I really hope I can go see Phantom of the Opera's last show ever sometime this month. Nobody wants to go with me though is the sad thing. I'm excited for the fair though it shall be fun.

I'm going to post some pictures from this summer to make me happy and remember my memories while I can.
